On my several adventures in this life I have happened to have a few encounters which stretched beyond what science can comfortably explain. It is one thing to hear about such stories and something else to witness it yourself. I will share one incident today…
I had been involved in voluntary first aid work for some years when one day, I came across a crowd gathered around a young lady who was convulsing/having a seizure of sorts.
I instinctively swung into action. However, there was something off… With most seizures I have encountered the victims appear unconscious. However, she was awake and aware albeit through very intense convulsions. So, I asked some people to help me carry her into a taxi so that I could take her to the nearest hospital.
A middle-aged woman particularly insisted there was no need for intervention, claiming it was a common occurrence with the young lady, but even so I wanted to ensure her safety and avert any risks. She then raised concern over the potential hospital bill and cab fare of which I offered to cover any incurred costs. Reluctantly, she obliged and accompanied me to the hospital.
We got into the cab, and I carried the girl in my lap as the lady sat beside me.
A few minutes into the ride the middle-aged woman said to me, “You’re bothering yourself for nothing. Doctors will not help because what is happening here is that she is being remotely used in a ritual. Wait and see, she is about to switch off any time now…” I gave her a perplexed look and as my mind tried to process what I just heard, she continued “I just didn’t know how to tell you, but just wait and see. They’ll take her any second now.” Boy, was she bang on the money…
The girl I was carrying immediately went limp and unconscious, like a robot that had been powered off. Then the strangest thing happened… Her left hand immediately become ice cold. I could feel it coz I was holding her. But her hand was only cold up to the wrist. The rest of her arm was very warm. The older lady continued narrating things I did not really want to hear then but assured me that “they” would return her to this realm once the ritual was over. (Blood of Jesus).
I kept my cool and tried to focus on just getting her to hospital first. We got there and a few minutes later the doctor came out looking visibly shook. “I’ve been a doctor for several years,” he said. “I have never seen anything like this before. None of her readings make any sense…” Her readings were not just a little off the chart, they were ridiculously off and according to the doctor humanly unheard of.
The older lady however was calm all through, not shocked at all. The doctor asked that if I was a believer to call a pastor immediately. Wueh!
I went out & called my pastor and as I walked back in, and the older lady said that “they” were done with the girl and would be “returning” her at any second. It was like she had the whole ritual event program in her head. And again, she was right on the money, the girl woke up and got up in less than 2 minutes. Her hand became warm again. The doctor took her readings and everything was completely normal. Instantly!
I spoke to the girl who confirmed everything that the older lady had been saying. While I managed to control myself from expressing my bewilderment, the doctor decided that he had seen more than enough drama for the day and his paygrade.
He immediately closed shop and went home (although I am sure he passed by the bar for a few stiff ones), refusing to be paid anything for his services.
I went home a little baffled but not entirely surprised. It was not my first experience with such strange events.
I would have told you about the day the corpse of a man killed two of his alleged murderers on the way to its burial. But that is a story for another day…
